Our Pathway to Carbon Neutral
Our Carbon Neutral status will take into account the full emissions from the full life cycle of the value chain. Partnerships with our key suppliers from farm through to logistics and distribution are key to achieving this. We call this the “seed to cup” approach. Our Climate Action Strategy sets out principles around climate action, the pathway towards carbon neutral accreditation and the risks and opportunities we may face with respect to climate change.
OPERATIONS | BUILD
MEASURE – GHG inventory, audit and offset to achieve Net Carbon Zero status for start-up phase of the project.
INCLUDE – GHG embodied energy assessment and energy efficiency criteria into the design phase of the build.
MEASURE – GHG emissions and offset to achieve Net Carbon Zero status for start-up phase of the project.
MEASURE – embodied energy of materials going into the build.
MEASURE – GHG emissions for the build and work with partners to eradicate any waste energy potential and materials.

MEASURE – Increase Scope 3 Boundaries as information becomes available from full lifecycle of product.
GATHER – GHG emissions for full lifecycle of products for 2024 GHG report from full supply chain.
OFFSET – Offset to achieve Net Carbon Zero status for start-up phase of the project.
REDUCE – Target key areas highlighted in 2022 GHG accounts to reduce emissions.
AUDIT – Audit results by accredited GHG auditor to ISO 14064-1:2008 – (Net) Carbon Zero.
MARKET – Annual Impact Report to contain 2023 inventory and audit information.

MARKET – Annual Impact Report to contain 2023 inventory and audit information.
